# Habilitar rutas largas en Windows

Debido a que la herramienta Archi cambia nuestros nombres de carpetas por Ids excesivamente largos, debemos permitir el uso de rutas largas en nuestro sistema Windows (por defecto 260 caracteres).

Para ello presionamos inicio y escribimos "regedit" para abrir el editor de registro.

En el Editor del Registro, use la barra lateral izquierda para navegar a la siguiente clave:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE  SYSTEM  CurrentControlSet  Control  FileSystem
```

A la derecha, encuentre un valor llamado`LongPathsEnabled`y haga doble clic en él. Si no ve el valor en la lista, deberá crearlo haciendo clic con el botón derecho en la tecla`Sistema de archivos`, eligiendo Nuevo> Valor DWORD (32 bits) y luego nombrando el nuevo valor`LongPathsEnabled`.

En la ventana de propiedades del valor, cambie el valor de 0 a 1 en el cuadro "Datos del valor" y luego haga clic en Aceptar.

Ahora puede cerrar el Editor del registro y reiniciar su PC.

También debemos permitir las rutas largas en Git, para ello ejecutamos por la consola:

$ git config --global core.longpaths true
```

```bash
$ git config --global core.autocrlf false   //Para que no nos muestre los warnings de saltos de linea en windows
```
